WTW - 16% raise is big at this level. Ideally leverage the WTW to increase KPMG offer
So I took your advice and spoke with KPMG. They are revising my compensation to 48k.
KPMG - it may lead to long term opportunities and 7k extra won’t make that big of a difference
Yes, I am with KGS. Just recently moved to the UK
I just reread your post…go with with the full time position offer. You could post and find out more details in the KPMG bowl too to see if the KPMG offer is fair and try the south Asian consultants bowl
Would going to WTW with 8 years of KPMG global services experience in India be a good career switch?
Hi, so an update here. I checked with WTW and they are ready to sponsor a Skilled worker visa for me. But they would not sponsor my dependants visa (partner and child).
Whereas with KPMG, I would be on a contract however, they are indicating that their bonus pot would be significant and are trying to keep me on saying that our family visas will be sponsored. None of this would be on paper obviously.
I have built a good name and KPMG and they can vouch for my performance. With WTW, it is going to be a new country as well as a new company for me.
Thoughts please? I am super confused
@willis towers Watson 1 - I’m curious to know how long you’ve been at WTW, office location and market/Lobs? I just joined 2 mos ago and I’m getting paid higher than my other job but haven’t hit reviews yet so I don’t know what that would look like for me. It seems like everyone I’ve met has been with the company for 10 to 25 years which is why the company looked promising in terms of longevity. I assumed they treated their employees well for them to stay that long. That’s why I’m curious and open minded to your thoughts/experience. Pls Lmk!
Hello Fishes, so an update - KPMG is fighting hard to keep me in their loop by offering 48k. What do you guys think is a better prospect??
Note: KPMG is brining me here on Global mobility visa on a secondment.
WTW is offering Skilled worked visa
My husband is also working in KPMG on a Global mobility visa currently on secondment.
Your thoughts please
I’m glad you got the increase from KPMG. 2K after tax is not that big of a difference. Stay with KPMG. You know the tools, processes and you have an established network. It will be easier to grow there and there’s a high probability of a long term growth there
