Hello Folks. I have been offered a Principal Consultant position in EY GDS. How is the hierarchy after this position and how does promotion works wrt to time and performance?

Does anyone have any tips on how to crossover to governmental affairs? I love government work, but I would like to try it from a different perspective.

I applied for a job within my unit that I do not qualify for. Now, I have an interview for this job. Me knowing I do not meet most of the qualifications for this position has my imposter syndrome thinking I shouldn’t even do this interview because it would be a waste of time. Has anyone felt this way?

Replied that I often receive LinkedIn offers for roles of paycuts around 30-50% so I want to make sure we’re in the same rough range. Recruiter again said she would only share via live call. Is this a red flag?

I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. Today I learned a new thing. One candidate was referred by a colleague of mine in the system. He got selected and offer letter rolled out.

When he checked the system he realized the referral was not taken and the background system captured it as direct hire.

So my friend is not going to get any referral incentive.

I have 17 years of experience and have an offer from EY GDS for role "Senior Managing Consultant" (Rank 32) under Technology Consulting.
