Hello. Has anyone had experience working remotely in, say, Spain with a family/kids? Either international schools or home school? Seems like a fun adventure to try it for a year.

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

If you’re working remote and your tourist visa is valid, does your employer really need to know for tax purposes that you weren’t in the US? For example if you fill out your local taxes saying you were home 12 months, but you really spent 6 months in Europe.

Last week I worked remote from a Royal Caribbean cruise so here are my learnings:
The internet had a max of 3.7 Mbps which meant I had my video off the whole time. I had one call completely drop in 5 days, so all in all not bad.
