Any word on layoffs at JPM?
TBWA NY layoffs today.
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

No I don’t think so, I have stayed at places for <6 months and never had a hard time hopping. I’m sure hiring managers understand layoff situations and would never rule someone out because of it. (At least good ones wouldn’t!)
It shouldn't impact you negatively. Just be prepared to explain the circumstances behind your being let go. You should be fine.
I’m sorry to hear that. Unfortunately it’s not uncommon in our industry people will understand. Keep your chin up things will work out.
Hi. If you are interested in oncology. Message me. We are hiring and no layoffs are coming.

Nah, you'll be fine. If you had like 3 or 4 stints like that in a row, then yeah, people might read into that as being more than just bad luck. But it happens. If anything, it reflects worse on the company than it does on you.

Primarily depends on your portfolio and pedigree. Secondarily your personality when you interview.
Not at all. I was just in the same situation.
