I have been working for about two years in the HR transformation practice at Deloitte. I work to make HR Orgs more effective, engaging, integrated and efficiently resourced. HR strategy, Org design, HR Op Model redesign, HR service catalog expansion, business cases for change, and shared services setup are areas of significant experience for me. I have done some M&A work previously. Background is in people management with a masters degree in HRD. I am looking to change roles. Contd. in comment..
I think it's a pretty cool path to take, personally it might be worth reaching out to some of the local PTs around you to understand their experience better. I think the experience can vary based on whether you're in a hospital vs clinic scenario etc
Tip - go volunteer/shadow or work part-time at a physio clinic
Or go volunteer at ICORD-PARC, those will get you some hands-on experience and connected with other OT/PTs
You can also get licensed as a Kinesiologist (literally just pay a fee) as soon as you graduate (if you took the health sci or physical training stream)
