Hello tech 🐟. I come in peace. I hate consulting within the SDLC and am looking to become more tech product focused. I have done project, program, and product management over the years. It’s been all implementations with upfront strategy work.

I had a product director role lined up but pay was peanuts. I have an MBA and PMP but want to become more techie like you all.

QUESTION: how can this old guy start sounding more techie and less MBAish? I am not trying to boil the ocean at this point.

Is there special experience or knowledge you'd need to be effective at a GCD level in Pharma? Or is it like any other account, just different products? I'm considering making the switch from general market advertising.

When a new type of project comes in and you get assigned as the PM to “figure out” the project plan, how do you go about resource allocation? Sometimes I struggle to know what the team configuration should even be, because we’ve never done said project type before.
