Hello! What are some general thoughts on an MHA? I have been working in a clinical position for over a year, and am considering applying during this upcoming cycle.

I don’t think it’s worth it if you already have healthcare/managerial experience. I got my administrative role with only a B.S. in Psychology and experience as a MHT.

I think experience trumps education in the administrative field.

like

Most C-Suite positions require a Master’s degree. It depends on what level of leadership you want to pursue.

like

What type of bachelor's degree do you hold? And do you already have administrative experience?

It really depends on your current position and where you want to go, if MHA will change your path and allow you to achieve your goals then it’s a great idea! If you don’t need the degree to reach your goals, I wouldn’t waste your time/money.

Why an MHA? What do you assume it’ll get you if you go down this route?

Trying to figure out if I should start as an inbound SDR, or try jumping straight into an AE role in SaaS.

I left mortgages at the beginning of the year to start a franchise business, it's now semi-self-sufficient so wanted to start a career again and I live in the Silicon Slopes area. Everyone I know is in SaaS or software engineering.

Just wondering if I should push my resume as far as possible and try to snag an AE role or take my time in a new industry and start from the bottom.

I’m looking for a new job, working remotely, that doesn’t require a Bachelor’s. (I’m currently going back to school to get one, as I only have an Associate’s in Mathematics right now)
I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. I’ve seen coworkers get positions they aren’t able to do simply because they have a degree and then leave a mess for me to clean up but I’m not allowed to have the position. Any suggestions?

How do I keep my team engaged when I am also struggling to stay motivated?

Our department has had a lot of turnover within the last few months, all of which were from different reasons (school, family issues, opportunities close to home, etc.). It has been a challenge to divide the workload, while still trying to remain flexible and provide a work-life balance.

However, I’m starting to feel stressed and disengaged. Any suggestions to make it through the changes?
