Hey Deloitte fish, I’m joining NYC office next week. I live in Jersey and wanted to see if I can move my office to one of the jersey ones for tax purposes. Anyone know if this will be possible? If so how do I do it? I don’t mind going to ny office and I will if I have to but my role is mostly remote and was told I’d rarely have to go in. I don’t wanna have to pay both taxes if I can help it

What is the drug culture like at your office? I assume people don’t openly talk about what they do in their free time if illicit, but they may do so quietly or you can otherwise tell.
Do you get the impression many people do them? If so, soft drugs (ex - weed)? Hard drugs? Non-prescribed study drugs? Frequency? At work-sponsored social functions? To an extent that it’s noticeable/problematic?

How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. I passed the bar exam on my first try (Oct 2020) and have only had a couple interviews out of the hundreds of applications I sent out. Any suggestions?

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.
