move to an infusion only pharm tech position. if you’re in a hospital i’m assuming you’re chemo and iv room certified. leaving retail and doing either just compounding for home infusion or that and hospital is the way to go. currently home infusion techs in my boston area start at $27/hr with a $5k+ sign on bonus

I am a CPhT and I work for an insurance company. My first salaried role was around $23/hr ($47.5k/yr). I have been able to move twice since then and I currently am making $67,360.

I actually started as a temp, then was hired in a pharmacy call center and the rest is history. The call center role did not require CPhT, but I left there to be a pharmacy auditor.

I would get out of the pharmacy tech job and move into Biomed. My techs are making $35-$45 a hour (plus OT and on call) depending on them being a Biomed 1, 2, or 3. Moving to San Diego, how do you plan to survive? Making $40 there will not even get you a place to live. Keep in mind we are up in the PNW, not socal.

Hey everyone - quick question. I applied to McKinsey for a BA role a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet - I'd be a lateral hire with a few years of IB experience. Luckily, since then I've connected with a former employee who plans to formally refer me. My question is - should I now withdraw the application which I independently submitted previously? Thoughts? Appreciate it in advance.
