Received an verbal offer from Amazon for Data Engineer position (Luxembourg).
I have no idea regarding pay bands for Amazon Luxembourg.
Wanted to check if there is any room for improvement with respect to proposed offer.
Base : 85k €

What’s the culture like at FTI Consulting?
I received a Senior Game Developer position at Globant Game Studios and just wanted to know if anyone has any idea about this department. I received Bangalore as the base Location and they told me Pune is having all the team, in future will they ask me to join in Pune? Which I don't want to.

EY worked with Simon to develop the Aspire leadership program. I just got accepted - it’s 3 year virtual training and is supposed to be really good so we shall see!
Sinek is completely out of touch with millennials. Have you listened to his talks about that generation?
How is D1 part of groupthink here? Simon Sinek just recycles what’s already been said about millennials and repackages it with an authoritative voice and delivery. He’s a snake oil salesman

Eh, sounds cool on paper but really seems more like a paid partnership that gives EY’s brand a boost (and gives Sinek more reach).
Yeah partnership has been going for a couple years now, but even internally all I’ve seen about it our a few videos. I believe they are using him to help shape initiatives from the top, and full disclosure EY 100% had to compete for the Simon partnership with each of the big 4. He ultimately chose EY (apparently) because he appreciated the culture the most from his interviews.... Or maybe they paid him the most, I have no actual clue.

May be. But EY seems to be relatively quiet about it . At least they were not boasting like us about 16 week paternity that is usually not fully taken due to so called ‘circumstances'.
Hahaha fair - not unlike when Deloitte (and Accenture) announced their Apple partnership. It was marketed this new innovative thing, but really it was just another vendor partnership like SAP, Oracle, etc
Deloitte needs his kinds to fix the rude ass culture.
