Anyone go to the Philly EY office regularly? I just moved to Philly this summer from DC so my gf can go to grad school. I’m in GPS so still tagged to my previous engagements and working with the same folks. There would be no reason for me to go to the EY office here other than networking so for that reason was wondering what the office is like and if there’s typically a lot of people there. EY

Welcome to the bowl! Glad you’re here. I transitioned from production side to full service agency and that’s when I came to the bowl. Learned a ton. My tip would be its as important to make sure a new piece of biz is right for your agency as much as it is trying to “win” that business. I fought that for a while coming from a sales background.
Read to RFP 4 times. Four times very carefully. Also study completed pitches like they hold the secret to life… really absorb them. And lastly enjoy! New biz is the most fun area of the industry!!!
New business is a lot more fast paced (than account management) and it requires you to handle multiple priorities at once while still being highly strategic - everything is critical and there are no second chances - good luck, it’s a thrill for those who thrive off it.
