Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

I am currently a Senior Consultant in KPMG Australia’s human capital advisory function - however I have been recently offered a role with Accenture Australia’s human capital advisory function as an ‘Associate Manager’ with a 15K salary bump and an enticing bonus structure - with some very cool clients that they mentioned to me in their interview round. Does anyone have any insights into what Mckinsey Academy does and how that's different from their regular "Human Capital" practice?

I do not like HR work, should I be aligned to HC? I’ve mostly worked on process design on large transformations and do not feel like I need to be an HR guru in order to understand the business process

I accepted a new offer and put in my notice this week and my company provided a counteroffer. The offer is lower than my new offer but I know it’s the best they can do. Financially I do need the money but I’m also tempted to stay because my current team is so great. I have 2 questions 1) when does it make sense to prioritize workplace happiness/ balance over financial well-being? 2) if I go back on my offer acceptance should I consider that bridge burned?

What is the general consensus on online I/O psychology programs? I’m looking to pivot into HC consulting and am strongly considering USC’s online MAPP or Harvard Extension School’s I/O Psychology graduate program.
