Hey 🐠 friends!

I’m working with an up and coming PE Advisory firm and we’re looking to make 2 new hires for an existing project ASAP. We need 1) financial analyst (13-week and 3-statement), and 2) tax and audit specialist (A/R systems).

These are contracted roles with weekly travel required and all expenses reimbursed. Rates depend on YOE, ranging from $100-$150/hour at 45-hours/week.

DM if you’re interested. Thanks all!

Anyone switch companies while pregnant/trying to become pregnant and still able to take maternity? I have been waiting months for a DOD job to open up and was about to apply. Then I learned that in order to have paid leave (and any job protection), I’d have to work with the DOD a year first before going on leave. Add 6-9 months for background checks to the process and any hope of that job went right out the door for me as I’m currently in the process of doing IVF.

Some good news after almost 11 months of applying and interviews and lots of rejections finally got an offer! In NYC small firm, ex big law folks, no billable hours, niche practice area, appearance of forwarded thinking firm, remote till who knows when, emphasis on pro bono initiatives and building book of business. The catch salary. Was making around 140k at last firm with 1800 billable. Offer is 85k and revist to bump to around 100k in several months after review (plus discretionary bonus)

What level of experience is just above “entry” level? 2-3 years experience? Is it reasonable to argue that be a salaried position.

At a T25 MBA and debating ACN strategy vs Deloitte for my internship. D had me interview for the F&EP group. D Recruiter told me the internship is now a "cross consulting" group with more flexibility to work across different practices (similar to ACN's ASCDP). I was curious if anyone had add'l info on either internship and what FT alignment process is. I'm interested in M&A consulting so was curious what my chances are at aligning with D's M&A offering. Also any info on D vs ACN is appreciated.
