I understand the feeling! I transitioned into a risk manager role a few years ago, and the biggest piece of advice I can give is to take your time getting to know the team, the processes, and the culture. It's also important to remember that everyone makes mistakes, so don't be afraid to ask questions and seek help when needed. Lastly, try to have a positive attitude and be proactive in taking on new challenges - you'll be successful in no time!
Try not to do anything too risky!
Ha ha ha very funny. I would stay on top of recent news and trends that could impact your line of work. Find the news sources you like and read daily. I would also try to network with other risk managers in other businesses in your same industry to find out what best practices are out there. Good luck man!
