Facebook (Meta) Product Management (IC5) or Google Cloud Marketing S&O/ Annual Planning (L6) role if I want to eventually be working on Product Strategy for consumer tech?
Heard it hard to pivot from Google S&O to Product Strategy even with 20% projects internally…

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

I am WAY TOO nice to be in public accounting….
Advice needed - boyfriend has almost 3.5 years of finance experience at a bank. Interviewed for PwC valuation senior associate and now recruiter says they want to hire him at “experienced associate” because he has no valuation experience. Is this too big of a step backwards in career? Should he push back and see if it gets him anywhere? If he does accept Associate, is it reasonable to ask for written, definitive timeline (1 year?) for promo to Senior upon meeting standards? Help!

You’ll need a test prep course like Becker or Wiley and they aren’t cheap. Everyone I know with a CPA used one of those programs. The AICPA does release free sample tests/questions but you’ll likely need to make the initial investment if this is a true goal of yours.
See if your company will pay for your review course and exam fees
Check out the lazy man method
Cheapest might be Ninja. It’s like $60 or $70 a month I think. I used it for the audio, but the questions they have are basically the same as everyone else. I can’t vouch for how good their adaptive tests are or if their tests are even adaptive though.
I used Becker, my firm paid for it. I know the review courses do giveaways especially at networking events and state CPA organizations do as well. Look into attending some state CPA events and talk to vendors. I know review courses also look for college campus ambassadors in which they receive a free review course as compensation. I found the video explanations on task based simulations with Becker to be the best for my understanding of concepts as well as how to tackle a specific type of task based simulation. If you don’t want to do all that and just get questions I’d go with Ninja
I used Gleim and passed all four parts (back in the day) in two sittings.

Cheapest - see if someone’s selling *recent* Becker books and buckle down on self studies. Realize you’ll be missing out on lots of online features but if you’re good at reading then the material is all there. Again, make sure it’s new enough that the material hasn’t changed.
Easiest - buy Becker and skim each chapter for like 15 min then drill multiple choice until you get 80% or higher and move to the next section. For sections you’re consistently failing badly on, re-read some of the complex stuff. More often than not you’ll be able to skim through a lot of chapters quickly and retain info via repetition on MC.
