Hey need some advice! I started a new job as an hr administrator for a new company. When I signed the contract it stated that I would be paid on a monthly basis. My start date was the 18th of May and my manager stated in an email that I would be paid on the 18th June as it would be exactly a month of work. Well I have not yet been paid nor have I gotten a payslip. I’ve emailed twice about the issue thinking it may have been an admin error or delays but no one has responded. What do I do?

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.

I am a proposal manager for federal consulting company. My base is low (112000) but I make up upto 50-70% of my base income with win bonuses. For people who have profit sharing what have your experiences been? Ours is every March but it is a variable number based on how we do the prior year (duh obviously) but also only my boss gets to decide and he gives no criteria on why he chooses what he does. I work as a Business Development Manager at a sports club.. I’ve been given a couple of months “trial” in the 6 figure and above sales in which I don’t see going back to my other role on lower sales. This was a somewhat good move for me until I consider missing out on commission each month that was more than my salary. (£25k salary, over £2k per month commission)
How do I go about raising this concern? I believe I should be paid more now and at least change my job title?

$215 OTE ( $165/50) + $15 RSU, usually exceed goal (4+ years) and get about $240. Other - 3x Presidents Club (Hawaii, Cancun, $15 payout for 2020).

Quarterly quota (per quarter): 107k
Quarterly bonus (per annum): 23k
130% Annual bonus = 11.5k
"23% commission on quota minus base": 37k (don't understand this)
"Proposed 23% commission on 150% quota minus base": 86.5k
Sales commission threshold per month: 22k
OTE: 122k
Cost/Sales: 28%

That base salary is lower than my previous base by a significant amount by 32.7%

Full disclosure: This is my second company. I have been solely responsible for 3-4 million in sales/revenue across this and my now sold commercial cleaning company. I have no training whatsoever, and am not a sales manager. Looking to make the best hire. HELP!

I'm not in sales per se but I manage my company's largest wholesale account ($150 million per/yr account). It's a great company, awesome culture, good benefits, flexibility, but the pay is not great ($60K/yr). All the pros outweighed the mediocre pay, but now with inflation rising, my paycheck isn't going as far and I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out if I should start looking elsewhere or if I should ask my boss for a raise.
