Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

A great one by iopsychmemes!

Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

If you want to be profitable it needs to be based off of profit margin. If they weren’t there how much would you gross off of the expected new business? Are you okay with / do you have the capital to lose money in the first few years? You need to budget for salary/insurance and then base your comp plan off of left over return. Without knowing what you make off the 500k it’s nearly impossible to structure a comp package.
Great comments/insight above… the kicker here, IMO, is that you are in DC. I’m not as familiar with hiring that type of trade in DC, but everything else in the NOVA area is expensive. I’d set quarterly objectives and tie to vesting as mentioned above. You want someone to hunt and carry you through those longer sales cycle deals. Good luck.
Compensation is dependant on how much hunting is required.
Are they cold calling and finding your revenue? Do you have ads in place bringing in prospects? Need more info.
My expectation is, they're hunting for most of the work. We have ads in place, that will produce some leads, but certainly not enough to support the additional expense as I'm already closing those that come in.
We have plenty of sales materials, a good reputation and excellent references. a good website with professional photography. wrapped trucks and they will also have a wrapped company car for door knocking.
