I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Personally, if I saw that in a resume, I’d just roll my eyes. IF you feel compelled to explain it (and I do think it’s a good idea), put in ‘Professional Break for family care’ and leave it at that.
If you don’t explain it, it could be interpreted as you couldn’t find a new job…which is not what you want an employer to think.
As for companies raising a red flag, not from interviewer to interviewer between different companies - unless they’re both using the same recruiter. In my current company, managers annotate interview notes which can be seen by other managers, if they’re interviewing the same person.
I don't think you need to overexplain yourself. We're not robots, we're people and sometimes life happens, gaps in resumes happen. Don't overthink it because they probably aren't.
No don’t explain that in a resume. Just tell them when you get the interview and even then be short and concise with your response and don’t over explain yourself. Give them the meat & bones of the situation and THATS IT. Nothing more nothing less.
Interviewer ask what you did in that gap period. Put in positive way in terms of career like learns a skill focus on communication skills and so on.
I am in the same situation and didn't put any fake information in the resume. Yes, the recruiters often asked about this gap, and most understood it.
I suppose, it is not a good idea to lie in the resume, especially if they can touch your fake employee.
I am not sure about test engineers, but I know there are returner programs for software engineers (at least in Manchester).
And yes, recruiters don't like career gaps.
