Hi all,

I have been going to gym since last 3-4 months, and have been taking diet also with whey protein of prostar but still there has not been effective muscle gain - I am getting a bit demotivated, have spent money on diet, workout plans- but nothing sort of working.

Can someone who has been to similarly phase can help me what I am missing?

Some people are late bloomers brother, sometimes your body is so messed up from the inside that the initial few months, the body fixes itself. There may not be any physical changes but your body is getting fixed internally. You glucose levels, your blood pressure, visceral fat, nutrients etc may be getting fixed.


It was the same for me, i couldn't see any progress for the 1st 6 months, but after that i got phenomenal gains. And let me tell you, these gains stay longer.

Are u eating real bioavailable protein which is obtained from meat? U can be fooled in whey.

You are poisoning urself with it. Atleast take eggs otherwise leave gym, speaking from personal experience.

Good evening all,

Just completed my last shift in the ICU. I'm glad to be shifting back to the Maternatity ward. It was exhausting, and emotionally draining working with such sick patients. I know the work we did made a big difference, but I'm glad to go back to my favorite role!

Anyone with stage IV endo and recurring Endometriomas gone on Lupron after egg retrieval? I’m still on birth control but my doc said after egg retrieval (assuming we get a strong embryo), I’d get off of birth control and on lupron for two months before transfer. The reason I’m not getting off of birth control now is because it manages my pain.

Anyone else struggling with hormones / mood swings? I am almost 16 weeks and been having a real tough time lately, feeling really down and stressed about things. Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.
