I have recently joined Cognizant 2 weeks ago. My base location is Kolkata. I had given interview for a project and I got selected and I was told that I need to go to office 4 days per week. I asked the person whether I can work from Kolkata. The person told okay. After that I have given allocation from the coming week. On TMP under SO, it is showing the location is Hyderabad,India and this role is not available across India. Is it guaranteed I need to relocate or dependent on manager?

Usually how many days/weeks will take to get the interview final status. I have submitted all the docs in portal it shown as review in progress from a week. Not received any call fr hr

Do we have any generic certification policy at HCL for upskilling.

Not talking about project specific or where RM needs to approve, as this tech (cloud) is something I want to learn, not part of my day to day work.

I got an offer from accenture 8lpa fixed 1.68 variable n the position is level 11.
Now i have better offers from pwc n kpmg
10lpa fixed.
Will accenture increase their offer. They wer not even ready to go till 8.5 last time. But now i have other offers in hand. Is it possible to go back and ask for improved offer n position even though i have accepted the old 8lpa offer from accenture 1 month back.

At the moment i manage a team of 5 industrial designers for b2b sustainable fashion and retail interiors. The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical. I have friends that have back office positions but never received an offer letter & their company still doesn’t use them now. Has anyone given notice & started a new position without an offer letter? Do international companies provide something else in lieu of a formal offer letter? I know offer letters aren’t legally binding anyhow, but seems they’d provide something. (International = Canada)
