Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?
PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

I went through the same choice and went LEK, but honestly it was super close and I don’t think there’s a wrong choice. I went LEK because with Parthenon merging more into EY I was worried about brand dilution for exits, and for getting stuck on longer post merger integration projects. That being said, I did a lot of work comparing exits and historically both seem to place similarly into PE
In the same situation as @C1, but chose EYP largely because of cultural fit, which should definitely be a factor in your decision especially if you're considering staying long term. Which firm had the people that you enjoyed speaking with more?
Exits to PE from both firms are pretty similar, some of the best you can get for a non-MBB.

I would take EYP over LEK if it was me - I think being affiliated the EY network provides a strength LEK can’t match (alumni network being a major component).
