I seriously need help with a situation I got stuck in. I moved to another city for my new job few months ago, in my office there was another team's lead, who fell for me. He is married already. We became normal friends at first but now hecis so much into me, due to all the stress, I left that company and moved back to my hometown. I came to know that he suffered a minor heart attack after I left, he stopped going to office too.

One of my friends has been given a choice, to work with an extremely outrageous target or to leave the firm. If he chooses to stay, he will be bound to serve a total time of 6 months. And if he refuses, tomorrow will be his last day, what can I suggest to him?

It's a critical decision and he is overwhelmed by this sudden obstacle. Any leads would be helpful.

Hi community, humbly seeking professional HR advice. I recently joined my company’s HR team. In an informal conversation, a senior HRBP, considered a peer, called 2 of our fellow HR colleagues “worthless.” I should have rebuked her then & there but was so caught off guard. This person is 20 years my senior. In the same conversation this person advocated for me on a separate matter & complimented my performance. I am not sure what course of action to take at this time. Distraught & unsure.

Me(jr): asked to lead a call for a different deal as training. Mid-level doesn't take notes (also on call) and tells me it's the job if the junior to take notes.

Just discovering RSD after being diagnosed as an adult. I feel like SO MUCH of my life has been impacted by this and I just never had a name for it. Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere. I’ve given a detailed summary of all of my expenses yet every month one family member in particular comes to me for rent money (not some, the full amount, and they refuse to get a job). It has become quite the burden.

I and my boyfriend have been dating over a year now. Our relationship in general is pretty smooth and sweet. The only problem is he has not come out to his parents yet. It was not an issue before the pandemic thing since we were just living in the city, being in our own bubble. But Covid happened and he moved back to stay with his dad. Since he is not out, he can’t pick up the phone call whenever I call him, he can’t tell his parents he is dating someone in the city. Cont.

I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?
