Hi all! I work as an Oracle HCM Technical Consultant with 2+ years of experience in a service based company.

With this tech stack, is there any way to enter MAANG companies (and other top tier companies)? Or one would have to completely change the tech stack and start from beginning in other fields(WebDev, Al/ML etc.) to stand a chance? If anyone has done it in the past, please do share the best possible path I can take currently.

No WD certification.

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

I thought I really wanted to be a chemical engineer but the reality of the day to day has been disappointing to say the least… is this a common sentiment for a first job? Do I just have to keep going to get somewhere interesting?

As a first time PM at a company with no PM structure, I’m finding it difficult to learn good practices and bring myself to “the next level”. Has anyone here had a similar self taught start that made the break through to become a solid senior PM? Anything will help, books, etc.

I joined pwc last month, and absolutely hating it here. Each weekend has been working, 12-15 hours work day is minimum expectation.
