Hi all - I’ve got a scenario interview to do a project discovery in an hour session to nail down the high level requirements. Does anyone have a good guide and/or template I can use for some planning? This is is a more technical project in nature.

Interviewed for Deloitte S&A Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got a much higher offer for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but need time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

So I wanted to know about the BGV process, like what docs they ask like docs from all of the past employers ?
And do they ask after joining or before joining ?
As I dont have exp letter from my 1st company (with 1.6 yoe) which was a small startup.
It was a absconding case so couldnt get any exp letter but I do have payslips, bank statements, appointment letter & last appraisal letter from that company.

Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year. I'm taking a cut in salary to consider this new job but I like the company and they actually offer benefits

Would Google (or other companies) consider someone who might be slightly over qualified for a role? I want to do something slightly different and want to apply for a level below as I have some experience, but maybe not just enough in that particular area. Thoughts?

Studied accounting and finance but worried about the future of this profession. Currently working in Forensic Consulting but want to leave. Should I go back to undergrad and get a computer science degree? I honestly want a career where I could at least potentially make 600 k per year. I feel in accounting it’s near impossible. Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

I have joined a company on 4th Feb, through consultancy on contract to hire basis.
I only received the job offer letter from the consultancy, but no Appointment Letter is given yet.
So since it's 10-15 day, since I joined. Can I leave this company, since I've got a better offer, with my suitable location.
PS: I have also received the laptop, but didn't login or do anything yet.
Please help me, can I still leave the company? And return the laptop to them. Or I have to continue here itself?
