I am a 5 yoe guy in finance domain FP&A (non technical background) my current CTC after the recent HIKES in deloitte is 6.7 LPA fixed and i received a bonus of approx 1 L so currently i am standing at 7.7 LPA with variable. Now due to some personal reasons i am really desperate to leave the organisation. I am in a negotiation phase with a company and the HR is offering a 10.5 LPA and my ask was 11.5 LPA.
Please advise the correct CTC that I should accept.

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

I’ve been verbally offered a position at a new company, but the recruiter insists on getting a verbal acceptance before sending the offer in writing. This person insists on negotiating salary before sending the paperwork. Generic benefits, RSUs, bonus info have been provided; it’s all unofficial.

This is absurd. Am I missing some “new way” of doing things? Your take?
