Hi Desi fam, It's been 2.5 years since I joined Deloitte and I think it's time to move. Haven't started applying yet but I will. I have a question.

The deadline for greencard application is tomorrow and Im not sure if I should initiate that or not. My H1B started last October so I still have time but I don't want to be stuck at Deloitte for another 2 years. Is it worth applying? Can I move to other companies if I apply now and will the documentation process resume in new company?

Junior Partner, been in working litigation at defense firm for 10 years...but I'm really starting to burn out and would love to transition to an in-house position. My concern is that I have very limited experience with transactional work. Advice for applying and interviewing for in-house gigs?

If I was a second or third choice candidate for a role, and ultimately got an offer, is it fair game to inquire with the recruiter as to why the initial candidates declined? And should this fact weigh into my decision process?

I took Amazon assessment for FA role. After I took the technical questions, it directly took my to survey page and skipped the behavioral questions. Did anyone experience that or whether they evaluate the candidates based on their performance before moving to next section?

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

I was just offered a sales consultant role at a spirit’s distributor 65K with potential to make 75K if I meet goals etc. My dream job @ Red Bull, Similar role but way more fun around the same range of $$ possibly slightly more ..am still waiting to hear if I made it to the final round. I have until Friday to respond and Red Bull said they would let me know IF I made it to the final round by Friday.. should I reach out to Red Bull if I have not heard by Wednesday that I need to make a decision?
