I think you're SOL on this one! That is a huge red flag for an employer...Maybe make sure to pick a job you are confident you can do well in instead!
Definitely not something you should worry about or ask about. These packages are proprietary to the company and often depend on individual employee situations.
I personally would admit that it's just a question of the current environment, and you have no plan for things to go wrong, but that you would like to know if they have severance packages in case there is ever a need to downsize given the unknown future of the economy. Mention you have a family, even if you don't.
I've never received one, so I would just assume there isn't one.

I don't think you can know that beforehand unfortunately, severance packages can look pretty different based on the finances of the company...it's a bit of a gamble really
