I have around 8 years of experience and am currently working as a contractor at Optum through Cognizant. I have received an opportunity to join Optum as a full-time employee (FTE).

I wanted to understand from those who have gone through a similar transition:

* What grade (SG26/SG27) is typically offered for this experience level?
* What kind of salary hike is generally provided when moving from contractor to FTE?
* Does Optum consider the candidate’s current CTC, or is the offer

Tech stack : Backend Development C++

YOE : 6+

Offer : 45L ( Fixed ) + 40L Signon Bonus ( divided in 2 years ) + Stocks worth 60L ( Divided in 4 years)

CTC (1st year) : ~ 71L (Base+Bonus+Stock) + 1.5L Relocation

PwC Bangalore hasn’t provided the hike o promotion letter yet. Is there a way to see the performance bonus and the hike??

Plaintiff side question - comp is base plus % of fees. Firm has non equity split % with associate working on case. This normal for a non equity partner? Normal associate comp is full % when working with an equity partner.

I’ve been at my clerkship for 5 years (4 with a different judge) and one with my current judge, and I heard horrible things about him before starting, but I assumed they were exaggerated. Turns out they’re all true, and I’ve had to start therapy to deal with him and the incredibly toxic environment. I’m trying to get out ASAP b/c he also has a history of firing clerks without cause or notice, but I think I’ll only be able to give two weeks notice if i get the job I’m interviewing for. Thoughts?

I have 2 offers in hand currently -
1. CGI - 25LPA +1L JB
2. Neev systems - 23LPA (5%VP)

Neev systems is ready to negotiate it with CGI. And both companies have their own benefits.

Neev's hike is good compared to CGI(almost double) & CGI have some additional perks like cab facility, Creche allowance, mobile, internet bills reimbursements and additional 5% shares.

Both might have similar WLB (12-9pm).

My DOJ is tomorrow, unable to decide between them. Pls help me!!

Omg.. everyone is leaving. I'm a junior and there's no mid levels and seniors. Its just me and the partner and I have no idea whats going on or what to do. Firm says its trying but ahhhh!!!!!

Hello Everyone,

I have received offer letter from Optum Global Solutions India recently and I am seriously considering joining it(I also have offers from Deloitte USI and Verizon).
My breakup annexure mentions 4 components apart from RRP and PF. Basic, HRA, Flexi, Special Allowance. Either the Special Allowance or the Flexi is not included in the CTC mentioned in offer letter. So I want to understand how the Flexi and Special Allowance are paid monthly. Can someone please help?
