Hi everyone,

I'm really struggling right now. I was diagnosed with ADHD and a non-verbal learning disability early in life. I am trying to be a psychotherapist but I feel like I'm being treated like a robot. I like talking to people and hearing their stories, and I also like being a safe place for people to express themselves. But all the corporate BS around the job is making me insane. I feel like quantity is more important than quality and I'm just so tired and burnt out ALL THE TIME.

Can you go into private practice? A lot of ND really appreciate an ND therapist!

I would like to, but I'm only an LMSW and I cannot have my own practice yet. I'd be happy to work for a private practice that offers good salary and benefits though! As well as a humane environment

Looking for advice on starting a post consulting law career.

I graduated with a JD/MPP, passed the bar, and immediately started at a consulting firm. I’m coming up on my 2 year mark and want to make the switch to practicing law. I’ve been doing human capital consulting in the government space.

Anyone have a similar background? Or know ways to make the pivot? Thanks!

Not sure what to do in this scenario.

Hello everyone, need a help from you.

Previously my HRA amount was 96000 per annum so I was submitting a rental agreement of full hra without giving pan card details of myself and first party.

Now I have recently joined a new company and here hra is 2.7LPA.

How can I claim the full hra amount? I live in a rented house where agreement is between owner and my dad. Also owner will not accept for a fake agreement too.

Any other alternative do I have to claim HRA? Your inputs are welcome here

So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.

Just here to say I’m so thankful we have this safe space. People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent! With all the negativity in the world, this bowl is that one ray of sunshine I so desperately need, so thank you everyone for what you have done and what you’ll continue to do!
