Covid has completely changed buying strategies of big corp as companies looked to retain and reset with what they have. What type of change do you see big corps taking this next year to drive growth?

At what comp is a single person in the US basically set for life as long as they don’t get fired? To me anything over 200k and you have enough to live a fantastic life and don’t really even need more.

Why is it that candidates who are 1-2 years out of undergrad are seen as inferior candidates to college seniors when applying for the same position? Shouldn’t the extra experience be an asset rather than a detriment?

Ps. When I followed up on candidacy they were still making decision for weeks. I let them know I had another opportunity hoping it would hurry them up and ended up not taking the other opportunity. Could it be they rejected me bc of the other offer? The hiring manager seemed to think I’d be a great fit.

Does Globant terminates the employment of certain trainees after their probation(3 Months) based on their performance in the training period? Some of the fresher trainees were laid off this morning without giving a notice or reason.

We were told that the probation period is a training period & not an elimination one. It was shocking as a few of those trainees were actually good.

1. Will be joining on 17th of the month will I be getting salary on last date of the month?

2. I'm an MBA fin graduate, and I had joined my previous company on Bcom basis and was paid 4.10 Lpa (4years experience) and now EY is paying me 6.5 Lpa, is this a good pay/underpaid?
