I want to build my career in analytics. I have offer from EY India, EXL and LatentView Analytics.
EY is more on the side of project management and process improvement in SaaS, as told. While there is hands-on in other two.

Is he MIS or Computer Science?
If he’s either of those, they made give him a coding test. If he knows programming, he will be ok. The ones I’ve had give you definitions of tasks, like to declare a variable is “Dim variable”, etc. and then ask you to write out the code to create some variables and create a for/do loop. It’s typically all done on paper. It’s literally just to make sure someone understands the mechanics of programming. All the tests I’ve taken included loops, do he should make sure he understands those.
For cases in general, he can Google case prep or ask his career fair for help, but in general they want to see logical, methodical, sound reasoning, people who are ok under pressure, and people who have decent estimation/judgement skills. It’s critical to “think out loud” during a case interview so the interviewer can understand your thought process. And briefly prepare a plan of attack before you begin speaking so you can be logical and decently organized.
DM me if you’ve got any other questions - it’s been a bit since I graduated from MIS undergrad but I’ve been an IT university recruiter for years in addition to my day job.
Good luck!!!
Thank you KPMG1. He’s Computer Science. I’ll DM, will have him digest the above. Thank you again.
