Hi all,
Does your organization have a good work-life balance, especially for IDs? Or do you know any such organisation? Currently I am working for more than 12 hours a day. I am a mother of one year old, hence, want to switch to the organization, which has less work pressure.

Nobody, NOBODY can stop your fnf. It'll be a matter of legal department if they do.

Just try and email the genuine reasons and if you have proofs send them.if it's mot a big deal try and go to that location nd spend few days and get out of it.
Why don’t you talk to HR ?
HRs are useless here tbh. Managers and Directors have all the power. My manager has said HR might get involved to which I said yeah sure I will talk to them. I don't understand why so much fuss for just 20 days
If your father is not keeping well and you have relevant documents about his health, then drop an email to your manager and also loop HR into the email mentioning your reason for leaving. I would suggest first discussing with your HR and then dropping an email.
are they ready to reimburse your travel....
show orgin point as far end on one corner of the country and have it reimbursed ....that way you can have your own work vacation

As a manager He has to be answerable and keep things on record so that He is not charged with unfair advantage towards you alone.
You need to write the true reason to not report to office. If you are not getting flight tickets,write down the same.

Due to my personal circumstances I am unable to report back to office. I understand the importance of management decision regarding reporting to office,However my circumstances doesn't allow me to relocate leaving my ailing father/parents back .
