I wanted to know, Will it be a good time to resign? I'm a little bit scared after seeing the layoffs in the big IT giant companies.

I believe if you feel stuck in life and have lost the work-life balance.. you should go ahead and resign and believe in yourself and your competencies that you can get a job.. if you feel toxicity in your current job, you should take the risk and give life a chance.. you never know things can work in your favor.. sometimes its good to take the risk and trust your instincts than living in fear..

My 2 cents.
If job stability is most important to you (for any reason) at this point of time then don't resign - as many startups are volatile and Cognizant might not give you a better work situation/learning (even with a better pay).
However, if your current job is hampering your health(mental or physical) or your professional growth then would suggest that you find as much information about the one role you wish most to take up next , make an informed decision whether it is better than your current situation and only then resign.
You've to check whether there is a layoff happening in your organisation. Not all are same
It all depends upon your current dependency in the project. Layoffs or no layoffs. If your manager has an alternate for you, they wont retain you.
But they are still hiring... Anyway let's see. Thanks for your response 🙂
