I have a question regarding taxation of joining bonus.

I recieved a joining bonus of 1 lakh from my previous employer in last fiscal year which was taxed.
I resigned from the organisation before completing 1 year... Which will be deducted from my last month salary.
How does taxation works in this case.

Presently, I am paid decently in TCS...got offers from KPMG and LTI...but then couldn't accept them and stopped my job search ...

But if at some point when I would feel saturated with the work at TCS...

20+ 30+ 40+ 50+ 60+ LPAs

Majority of our salaries are going in Taxes..
I came across two examples where, one person having 13 lpa is getting almost 95+ after all tax declarations.. And another person with 20 lpa is getting around 1.05 lakhs take home after deductions..
So it's just 10k difference every month.. 13 lpa vs 20 lpa...

My CTC is 10 lpa & take home salary is 78.5k pm after deductions..

Hi everyone,

I got an offer from a company A with 90% increment on CTC and in other company B at 130% increment on CTC. I'm totally confused which one to choose. Here are some pointers regarding the two:
1)A has both fixed and variable whereas B has fixed. So 130% will be fixed.
2)A is brand company B is paying really well.
3)B has sure short onsite opportunities.
Not sure which one to go for. Any help/suggestion would be great..

I joined @MINDTREE in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX. Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?
