PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Campbell is also a nice spot in South Bay
Since the Lucid office is in Newark, i would suggest Fremont or North San Jose for proximity, Crescent Village or River View or North Park apartments or Rivermark area are great locations in North San Jose. In Fremont best areas are Warm Springs or Mission, Aya apartments is brand new and there is another new one opposite it forgetting the name , you can also rent a house etc which might be upwards or 3500 per month. Milpitas is another good option, lots of apartments and townhomes for rent.
Thanks so much for your detailed response. I am working remotely so commute shouldn’t be a problem. All good recommendations though :)
I would not choose Fremont. Lived there for years and there is nothing to do within the city, its an inconvenient distance from most places and traffic is particularly terrible (even by Bay standards).
It’s also pretty monoethnic, which could be a positive or negative for you, so just do some homework and see if it’s in line with what you want.
I liked Fremont. There are some apts near Elizabeth Park or Civic Center area. Mission San Jose is very nice as well. The only reason I moved to South Bay was the distance (I work in San Jose). If your company is located in Newark, Fremont is a good option. I don't recommend commuting between Newark and South Bay. Traffic is hell.
Sunnyvale
Campbell, sunnyvale.
Fremont sucks
Yay! Come on over!! You really can’t go wrong with the South Bay - Los Gatos (gorgeous), Saratoga (gorgeous), monte Sereno (gorgeous), cupertino (very nice), Sunnyvale (quite nice), MV (very nice), Los Altos (gorgeous). Fremont = dump (sorry, but some areas are nice).
Gorgeous > very nice > nice > average > dump
I grew up in Cupertino, so I might be biased for recommending it…. but the neighborhood is really nice, short commutes to anywhere and the school districts are pretty good in my opinion
Mountain View
