Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Yes you are overpaid, but good to maintain high base
Rising Star
Not overpaid but Careful Publisis Sapient was a hire and fire company.
No you're not OVERPAID.
Till 2021 the calculation for ideal salary (in service based companies) was:
Salary = 1.5xYOE
Things have changed now. Now salary is measured based on the skill and how proficient you are in that skill. If you feel you are skilled and your peers with same level of proficiency, irrespective of YOE are getting similar salary, then you're not overpaid.
Normal in many companies- but high by industry standards.. don’t use the word ‘overpaid’
What's your skills?
Depends on your skillset
Ya niche skills pays a lot- if your technology is not open source- you are gold
Not really. Rarely will the company overpay you unless it's a skill the company itself is adapting to.
Obviously no bro..!!
If you have a good skillset, then you can go for more easily. If not, then every number is high enough. 🙂
yes you are overpaid!
Mind sharing your observations that make you think he/she or someone is overpaid?
