How do you best leverage a job offer when you don’t want to leave? In the running for a VP job (higher level than now) that pays $70k higher than what I currently make. I want to ask for more money, but don’t want them to see me as a flight risk or that I am not loyal anymore. Let's say Family consists of husband , wife and a kid . I've recently got an offer for 60k yearly in Hamburg. They're sponsoring relocation for myself and wife as well and 3 month stay.
Currently placed at 20 lpa with 7 years of exp and wife at 12 lpa.
And before moving she would have to put down the papers and search for job there afresh.
I'm also having offer for 30+ lpa in India.
Would it be a wise decision to move there. Would I be able to save enough and enjoy as well?
