Career wise - what would be best? A change management role at Crowe working government software upgrades Or Change Management role at a name brand childcare company? The culture fit at childcare company is amazing.. remote, unlimited PTO Crowe , I'm not sure since it's working with government.

I love it. I’m not stressed in mornings, able to do household stuff during day, able to cook a healthy lunch, and I’m done at 5pm and actually get to spend time with my kid. I just make sure to do small talk with co-workers when I can on Teams and I feel really part of the company after a few months. Totally worth it
Nice thank you!!
I’ve been working remotely for over three years and whilst I am ready for a change (looking to move to a job where I can work in a hybrid setting), I have found working remotely to have many benefits.
I’ve found I’m able to work more efficiently without getting distracted by others, meetings are very direct, which make it easier to get each task done faster and overall I have more time on my hands to do other things like see friends, personal appointments, getting fresh air, etc. My advice would be to make a to-do list and be really strict in terms of what you get done each day. If you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out via DM.
Thank you!
When I transitioned to remote work the hardest thing was separating work and life. My biggest piece of advice is time blocking, with little rewards. After each time block success I get up and stretch, fill up my cup, use the restroom etc. this allows me to be productive without feeling like I’m sitting for 8 hours straight. When I’m done for the day I have my notification silenced on my devices to keep that solid boundary of being out of the office.
I have been WFH prior to COVID. I love everything about it. One thing that helps separate work/home is to be able to “put away” work for the day. Shut off notifications for emails, text, slack/teams after 6PM. Being able to shut the door to my office and having a separate phone for work that I only access during work hours has helped immensely.
Your company still hiring?
I’ve been remote for almost 15 years. I can’t imagine going into an office. I do occasionally travel to visit the teams I manage, but that hasn’t happened since covid.
I spend lots of time on Zoom with my colleagues too build and maintain relationships, but am able to go heads down for hours if needed with no distractions.
I’m extremely productive, but I can also take a break to walk the dog, dance, clean, lie on the floor and stretch, take a coffee nap, etc: all things that keep me sane but I would never do in an office.
