How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.
Gave interview sometime back, Initially they did not agree to the ask, since I already have offer from other org which is much greater than what Tavisca is offering.....Difference is around 4lakhs in both of them, the other org is mid sized company which gave higher offer... What to do in this case... Go for JPMC?? Or other org?? Tavisca JPMorgan Chase

Yes. Numbers and experience game. Spread a wide net. Best of luck op!
Thank you for the encouragement!! I wish I had done this from the get-go, but navigating recruitment on top of school/work was overwhelming. I'll put in some more applications here and there and see what I hear back!
DM to see if I can refer
I sent 30+ applications during my master's. Got 10 test invites, 5 interviews and 1 offer.
As others have mentioned it's a numbers game.
Considering you went to final rounds to some T2/MBB it means that you are almost there, but something minor is lacking - try to find out what it is if you had any post-interview feedback.
I'm still looking for something full-time...do you think it's worth applying to other consulting firms that didn't recruit from my school even though this is a little outside of the normal recruitment timeline?
Check Vault.com for a solid list of consulting firms you can apply to. (Not sure how accurate the rankings are)
Thank you!
Yes. Don’t give up if that is what you want.
I can sympathize. I had four interviews lined up with IB right before the recession and I had to really work to get into consulting after they all fell through.
