Hi, i'm currently navigating a transition from management consulting (digital operations) to strategy consulting. I'm looking at the big 4 strategy arms and also MBB. I'd love to get any thoughts on the transition overall and in particular would like to hear thought on Strategy& vs Monitor Deloitte (I have a foot in the door with both, however my path into Monitor may be faster/easier as a lateral hire and I have questions about the culture at S& after seeing a number of friends leave).

Encora - 42 fix - tech stack is clear - mix of new/ old technologies.
Genpact - hiring for Morgan stanley client - tech stack is good - .net + Angular, cloud they would migrate soon is known

01 with the hiring managers (Senior Vice President & Vice President) and second was with the Director, the second round happened approx. 2 weeks back, currently my job application status shows as "Business Review" can someone shed a light on what this means and how long does it take for Citi to get back with an answer i.e. am i selected or rejected.

For new joiners is there any office setup at home reimbursement at citi. Like buying chair, table , headphone etc. Does citi provide any welcome kit on joining.

I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? Do you have model to share?

Interviewing for an L6 TPM role at Amazon and have received a request to submit a writing assignment (post phone screen) that is due before the interview loop.

Would it be a problem if I write about the same scenario from my phone screen, with more specificity? I have a great example on the innovation option, but HM already touched on this topic. I think the intent is to just gauge my writing style, but don’t want to assume.

I’m waiting on an offer for what’s named IT Business Analyst but it’s also Salesforce Administrator work. The company is The Adecco group so they are fairly big. I have two years of Salesforce admin experience and in my interview they said my experience is perfect to what they are looking for

So my questions is, I think they are going to offer around 80k but I don’t think their going to be guaranteed bonuses with the offer. Should I negotiate a bonus to the salary or negotiate a higher salary?

I'm at a LMM investment bank. Can get crazy sometimes, but otherwise chill. Typically done around 7-9 pm, had maybe three 1 am nights. Haven't worked a weekend in over a month. Fridays almost always done at 5 pm.

Have an offer at a reputable MM bank but probably pretty sweaty. Worth the move?
