I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. I’ve been working with Amazon for a year, but there’s a lack of prospective EE positions within the company. The job postings I see are either less or barely above my current salary. I’m not sure if staying longer is beneficial for my future career as an Electrical engineer. I plan on getting my FE license within the next 6 months. Any suggestions will be appreciated

Hello, I am a Risk Analyst at a software company and have been a top performer on my team for a year now. I was hired on with the impression that my company will pay top performers “top of market salaries” because it is stated in the culture deck of the company. Through independent research I have found that I am not being compensated “top or market” and according to most sources I am not even at the median salary for risk analysts in our industry with similar experience and education. Thoughts?
In august I’m coming up to 1 year anniversary at work. I wfh and reside in Houston. I’m feeling underpaid for the 7 years of experience I have in immigration. It is a small firm with 1 attorney, and 3 paralegals. No benefits and making 45k. Attorney completely relies on me for everything court related as her go to. Ill also be on maternity leave in September-October. Attorney is paying for my mat leave but i don’t know how much to ask for in a raise since I’ll be leaving a month after.
Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). How do you deal with staff that don’t follow instructions? This is my 2nd project & I find that when I give specific instructions it’s not followed thoroughly or done sloppy. Hi. I’m relatively new to recruiting and my role is primarily in supporting recruiters. I’ve noticed that even when I include a specific request or call to action, that my emails receive a response less than 50% of the time. Is this lack of responsiveness indicative of company culture or more about the culture of recruiting, since they receive so many emails? Thoughts? I’ve not experienced this rate of responsiveness in any organization I’ve worked for. I am beginning to take it personally.
