Pray and ask God to align you with a job where you can serve Him using the talents and gifts He has blessed you with. Trust that He will open the right doors and guide you toward the work He has prepared for you.”
I’m sorry you’re carrying so much pressure right now. Please don’t see this as bad luck or failure — sometimes unstable work environments, timing, and lack of opportunity hit people hard. Take it one step at a time: update your resume, apply daily, reach out to past contacts, and don’t be afraid to take temporary or entry-level work while you stabilize. The right opportunity can still open, and you’re not alone in this season.
I feel the same way.
Why?
Right there with you and when I say it takes all I got to get up but let’s keep getting up because that’s the hardest part 😍🫂🫶
Not gonna lie, sometimes I feel like I’m never lucky when it comes to jobs. Every time I start a new position, I give it my all. I show up, work hard, stay dedicated, and genuinely try to do the best job I can. But after about six months, things always seem to change.
I’m usually one of the youngest people at work, and I often feel like people start turning against me or forming opinions about me that aren’t true. I’m naturally a jolly/ quiet person and tend to keep to myself because I’m cautious about people. I’ve learned to be careful about who I trust, especially in workplace environments. Unfortunately, that gets misunderstood. Instead of seeing me as reserved or focused, people often label me as unfriendly, mean .
The truth is, I’m not any of those things. I’m just someone who takes time to feel comfortable around others I will open up but once I see shady stuff happening I back up . It can be frustrating when people judge me without really getting to know me. Sometimes it feels like no matter how hard I work or how dedicated I am, workplace politics and misunderstandings end up overshadowing my efforts.
I just want a workplace where I’m valued for my work ethic, dedication, and character instead of being judged because I’m quiet or choose to stay out of drama.
I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling like this. I have been hired and the facility closes within the year or the corporate strategy or alignment shifts to eliminate my job. Or, turnaround a failing team and they decide to eliminate that workforce with contract workers.
