Need help in evaluating 2 offers - Got a Technical Architect position at Salesforce and a Consulting Manager position at EY. I have been in Big 4 all my life(8 yrs exp)and more into Advisory than actual hands on technical work. Base pay at both the companies is same with EY offering no added benefits and Salesfor offering bonus + stocks. Transition to EY would be smooth as it’s the same old BIG 4 but want to check how technical is actually a technical architect position at Salesforce?

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

Does anyone use Interactive Student Notebooks (ISN) in their math class. I've used them in the past and doing it again this year. How's it going with students following instructions and assembling their notebook handouts?
