Since 1,5 year back I work at an indie shop after being at various network agencies for over a decade (McCann, Ogilvy, DDB) and I absolutely love it. But recently got approached by one of the best agencies in the world who more or less wanted to double my salary and give me a title bump. I’m only human and I have morgages and kids that eat up a lot of our salaries atm. Good choice or do you guys think I’ll regret it for the rest of my life?

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

Advice needed: looking to leave public accounting and tax for good. I have two offers between a financial analyst and an accountant role. Hello friends, looking at a JP opportunity and hopefully going into the offer process after today’s interview. What I need help is understanding the comp structure in non front office roles ? In Goldman we have PATC ( per annum total comp ) which is nothing but base + “promised” bonus % + RSU.. how do you have total comp defined in JP ? the bonus also a % of base and almost agreed upon ? Example my bases is 200k and bonus is 25 % etc ?

I want to exit to MBB but if that’s not a possibility what are the next best consulting firms? Looking for at least midsize firms (non-boutiques).
