Pretty new to stocks and investing I would like to invest $200-$300 a month in an ETF index fund which do you guys recommend? Also would like to invest some money monthly in a more risky stock which do you guys recommend?

Index fund or ETF? I cant determine which is more advantageous, just want to sit and hold similar to retirement accounts (already maxed out). Looking at VFINX vs. VOO. Advice is appreciated.

New to US. Which brokers offer best margin accounts? For e.g. I have equities worth $100K and want to trade options. Is there a broker where I can do so without paying more in collateral money - essentially using stocks as collateral, and also not paying margin interest. Was able to do so in London, Hong Kong, and India. However, Robinhood here doesn’t seem to allow it.

Anyone using Edward Jones? Feel like we did a mistake and rolled over all my husbands retirement accounts from different employers and our kids 529 under them Jan 2020. I have made my tax payment in July 2022 but yesterday (15 Nov 2022) I receive an email that tax payment is due for assessment year 2022-23

I called to help desk and he advised to raise rectification request from Tax portal and update the challan number. I tried to raise request but need to upload some XML or json file there. I am not sure how to upload or modify that file.

My Last working date at Wipro is 12th of june 2022, So How tax will be calculated for the financial year 2022-2023. My CTC is 8.4L
I will be working only 3 months for this financial year and in April month payslip i can see 6K deducted for tax and in the IT projection it shows around 30k tax deduction gonna happen. I will be joining another Firm in same june month

If my company is deducting tax on reimbursements for example relocation, flight travel, mobile usage, etc. Then how to show in tax filing? bcoz as per my understanding it should not be taxable as I am using my money and company is refunding and no extra income. It's like I have already paid once and while refunding company again deducting. Please guide on this issue.
