One of the projects I’m going to be put on requested to have a little interview with people of the team so I had mine today. The “interviewer” didn’t really seem to think I was qualified for this project at the end of the conversation (agree to disagree with him on that). Regardless, am I in trouble for not fitting his criteria/selling myself enough…kinda worried on my manager’s response….

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

hello! I’m looking to get some insight to see if I’m being paid fairly for where I’m at in my career. I’ve worked at the same company for 2.5 years. This is my first job out of college. Started as an HR Admin, basically in a call center for all HR related inquiries and now am a Sr Admin assisting with escalations, interviewing, training new hires, supporting my team, scheduling, keeping track of stats- phone calls, tickets resolved, etc. I’m making $52k per year and work remote out of MA.

Does anyone know where in the org the CX Transformation practice sits? I’m interviewing for a role soon and I’m trying to learn more about it. Any guidance would be appreciated!

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

Does anyone know if Infosys Consulting typically has a remote structure? I have a higher base offer from another consulting company that I prefer, but they have a travel requirement of potentially up to 50%, whereas Infosys claims to be flexible on allowing consultants to be fully remote in the future hybrid environment. Annual bonus which is called AIP in Deloitte is not defined in offer AIP is not a set percentage and varies based on year and individual performance assuming nothing on first year but gets better after first year. Since end of January I've had five interviews w team members, including with the partner who leads the practice I'd be joining. Still no word.
