What do you think it takes for a PPD to get a utilization bearing WBS for proposal work? I know it is rare...

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

Any utilization review nurses working at an insurance company able to share if your company requires work on weekend/holidays? If so, what work do you do on weekend/holidays snd do you work s full day on those days?

I wish admin utilized Tier 1 supports with teachers. Smiles, appreciations and acknowledging ones efforts would do a great deal to boost morale and climate. I just don’t understand what that is so hard to do.

Random partner asked a litigation-related question to a partner I frequently work with (i’m a transactional associate). My partner cc’d me and said for me to briefly look. Asked the library. They got me a great case. Sent it back. Now the random partner is asking for more cases in another circuit.

I haven’t done caselaw research since 1L and this isn’t even my practice… wtf do I do (I am fully utilized in my normal work and have a few deals closing soon…)

I’ll start. Trying to get non local resources utilized. National Leadership thinks this is the answer to our problems but local leadership is hesitant.

Promoted to SSE with 25% hike and VP as 9% . I had received ACE award in Q3 . I have also maintained utilization report 100% still I got less VP. Can I ask manager to revisit the component

Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.

Can you get fired for having low utilization as a senior? My billable hours this busy season have been much lower than my peers.

A colleague mentioned to me that they bill self study instead of pto. If I’m utilized at 100%+ and staffed on a client and take 3 days off wed-Sunday, they say bill self study and save pto. Advice?

I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I’m also getting to a stage where I’m really sad that people haven’t reached out to either my husband or myself to send well wishes or provide support. Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title.
