Hope everyone had a good weekend ☺️ I figured out a few tricks I'm going to try to boost my meal planning this week. Bringing baggies of fresh cut veggies for snacks for one!

That's a good habit to get into. I found that I gained a lot of weight by just "grazing" in the office, eating random and junky things throughout the day. You don't realize you're doing it, but it adds up to eating like at least an extra meal a day. Bringing your own veggie snacks is an excellent alternative.

like

Yes!!!!! Exactly. Glad it works for you too 😊

OP that is one of my favorite tricks. I am a big fan of cucumbers so I really like to bring a bag of those little mini ones in with me. They make for such a quick and easy snack with like no calories.

like

Yummy! Do you put anything on them? For cucumbers sometimes I put a drizzle of sesame oil and a sprinkle of salt

Sounds awesome! Fresh-cut veggies are a great idea. Hope the meal planning goes smoothly. Keep us posted because I learnt meal planning is NOT for me

Thank you, it went pretty well. I avoided buying snacks for the most part!

My parents are visiting this week and mom and I made dinner tonight. Salmon is seasoned with Trader Joe’s ajika (a Georgian spice blend) and we just roasted the broccoli. The standout is the mejadara. It’s spiced rice and lentils with fried onions and is popular throughout the Middle East. We used the recipe from Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi’s cookbook, Jerusalem.

My family and I want to move from Florida to the Seattle area in 5 years. My husband is in Aerospace Engineering. We both love nature, hiking, and rock climbing. We prefer cool rain over sunshine, miss seeing the seasons, and love to cook.
Any advice, Pros VS Cons, anything to look out for ?
Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone! I have been in my current role as an EA at a financial institution for about a year and a half now. I would love to find a 100% remote role as a mid level EA at a company with an awesome work culture. I think I’m ready to be challenged again, I find myself bored in my current role… I’m open to any industry but would love to get into tech. If anyone knows of any openings I would really appreciate it! I’m located on the East coast currently. TIA
