How are those over 60 handling covid 19 aspects of being labeled population that should treated differently when coming back (or if allowed to) to work?

I was taking SSRIs and dealing with awful side effects while I struggled for so long. I finally got an official diagnosis about 10 years ago but was never taught the symptoms or how to manage them. I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(
