Cleared Accenture Skill interview by answering almost all the questions and received congratulatory mail for HR round and submitting all documents. Then after a week received a call from HR saying that due to some technical issue, the skills round will happen again and an online assessment was set up. In the assessment, questions which were not directly related to the profile were asked and then a rejection mail was received. Does this happen a lot?

As an Asian American if I come across someone who went there I would perceive them as smart but in terms of prestige I would say they’re around a top 50 school in the US. Around a Penn State. Not close to Harvard Cambridge or even top Public’s like Berkeley ucla
Asian American and this sounds about right. For the average person I wouldn’t count on any recognition, let alone prestige.
Is this the Asian beer? It's pretty good but I'm not sure why it's being compared to universities.
Wait. That's Tsingtao. Never mind.
Know of Tsinghua due to a number of colleagues going there for the Schwarzman Scholar program, but that's the extent of my knowledge of them.
Would not place them on the same level of "prestige" as Harvard or the like.
Pro
Never heard of it tbh
Where you went to school matters much less than the impact you make in 3 months on a project and/or previous impacts

They are good at math but no part of their previous education encouraged independent thought or free enquiry into ideas. They passed tests the government set. That is it.
IIT is closer to breaking into the American consciousness.
Tsinghua is a top school in China. Many researchers who come to US are from Tsinghua.
Reputation wise H and C are top schools. H don't have a real Engineering program.
Tsinghua is like one of the IITs of China.
Good caliber programs and students in engineering. Don't stack up to H and C in reputation.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to major.
CWUR:
It’s the #1 school in China.
Ranked 4th in Asia.
Listed as #43 in the world.
US News & World Report: Ranked 16th in the world, and 1st in engineering
Probably great if you want to work in Asia. Almost zero name recognition outside Asia.
One year MBA programs aren’t viewed as valuable (lacking the depth and internship).
Americans generally don’t trust anything coming out of China
Rising Star
Just googled it to see what it was. The only non-US universities that have major brand recognition in the US in my opinion are Oxford and Cambridge. Select business schools also have brand recognition (LBS, INSEAD)
What is that? In what country?
As an unknown
I went to an Ivy and a Russell group. I studied hard science. Many peers in my UK cohort came from Tsinghua, so I’ve been aware of them. But they all seemed to aspire to go to MIT, CAL or USB. Hardly anyone in the US would know these.
Unknown to Americans, but all Chinese hold Tsinghua in very high regard
I’ve never heard of Harvard or Cambridge. Any good?
